In 2023, following Tales Inc.'s hit play 'The ABC Murders,' which, after eight seasons, set new records in theatre education, we returned with a performance dedicated to Agatha Christie's thriller 'And Then There Were None,' the world's best-selling murder mystery book. Due to last year's success, we are reopening with a second season to ensure that no one misses out on this fun and witty adaptation of the play.
A hilarious adaptation of the best-selling crime novel by Agatha Christie.
The story follows 10 strangers
(Two professional actors and eight students of your school)
who receive an unusual invitation to a solitary mansion based remotely off Britain's Devon Coast.
The group arrives at its destination, only to find that darkness awaits them.
Your host will be
joining you later, Sir.
Dinner will be served soon.
The guests are met by Thomas and Ethel Rogers, the butler and cook-housekeeper
They get acquainted
to each other and
have a lovely dinner...
And Then, a big booming voice comes on over the gramophone accusing all ten guests of committing murders. They are all informed that they have been brought to the island to pay for their actions. They all claim innocence.
They are the only people on the island, and cannot escape due to the distance from the mainland and the inclement weather.
" Ten little Soldier boys went out to dine;
One choked his little self and then there were nine.
Nine little Soldier boys sat up very late;
One overslept himself and then there were eight.
Eight little Soldier boys ...."
Everybody is a suspect
The guests begin to suspect ... They begin a search
Who's There?
And then, one of the party suddenly dies,
The tension escalates as the survivors
realize the killer is not only among them
but is preparing to strike AGAIN… and Again...
Mr. Rogers dies...

English level: Our experienced actors will adapt the show level to your students’ needs.

Interactive theatre: Join-in! Eight students are part of the cast (They will attend a one-hour rehearsal prior to the show to prepare for the play).
Note > For your students, it is a lot of fun and there is plenty of opportunity inside to interact with the story as it progresses. High levels of improvisation are required of the artists to assure that everyone is involved and complicit with the actor and the gags.
